Frangipani collectors wanted!!!!!! - Nov 23, 2018

Add some perfume to your garden!

Dear gardening friends
Our Frangipanis have arrived direct from our grower in Darwin. We have almost 40 varieties including rare red flowering plants like Darwin Blood.
This year we are selling them direct to you for just $19.99. Normally we pot them up, and then they sell for $29.99.
Buy them now and save $10.00 per plant.

Frangipani collectors come from all over Sydney to buy these amazing plants, so if you are a local, come in now, to get the best colours. If you don’t have room in your garden for a small tree, then grow them in big pots. You can even grow two plants in the same pot and make a rainbow tree.
Use our Tim’s Best Potting Mix to get the best results. My parents grew a Frangipani in a pot for 20 years. They are tough.
If your worried about frost, plant them up against western, or northern facing brick walls. The bricks heat up and help protect young plants from frost damage.

NSW Christmas Bush has arrived this week. This native plant produces these amazing red Christmas bells every Christmas. They make inexpensive flowering gifts.
We gift wrap them for free.
They can be grown in big pots using Native Potting Mix, or grow one in your garden.
You can cut the flowers and give them away as home grown gifts. We always sell out so don’t leave your purchase to the last minute.

We’ve started our $50.00 Christmas Gift Card Sale for just $40.00.
These are popular gift options and many people just buy a couple for themselves.
If you’ve got a friend who loves gardening these make an easy gift option.

A big thanks to all our customers who supported our charity drive this spring.
We sold 280 Arthur’s Big Greek Tomato seedlings and raised $1,400 for The Dilly Drought Drive. These farmers are doing it tough because their dams are still empty.

A big thanks to Arthur from Kings Charcoal Chicken Shop in Queen St who gave us the seed.
Arthur’s family grew this giant tomato on the family farm in Petri Greece.
We’ve sold out now. If you got one enjoy your tomatoes.

We still have other Tomato seedlings available so don’t think it’s too late to plant.
I planted a second crop last week at home and they have taken off. Tomatoes love the heat.

If you’re growing tomatoes at home pick them while they are still greenish and ripen inside on the window sill to avoid fruit fly.

Our Famous Fresh Cut Christmas Trees are available from next Saturday. Our trees are grown in The Southern Highlands. They are always fresh and full of moisture so they stay fresher longer. Trees cost $65.00.
We have stands available too.
Come early if you want a big tree.
They always sell out fast.

Bring an old sheet so we can wrap up your tree to keep your car clean. Remove 1cm off the base when you get it home and put in your Christmas tree stand. Don’t let the water tank run dry or you will have to cut another 1cm off the base.
A Christmas tree is like a big bunch of flowers. Treat it the same and you will have success.

We still have heaps of Christmas Colour to make your pots and gardens look fab on Christmas Day. Plant now and impress your relatives. We have fabulous gift ideas too and easy parking.

Indoor plants are back in fashion.
They make great office gifts.
Kids love them too.
Come and talk to us
Happy gardening
Tim
