Time to pot dress - Aug 09, 2012

I bet you have plants growing in pots around your house that have never been repotted.
That's like us having to wear the same sized shoes all our lives.
Plants should be repotted into bigger pots every couple of years but I know in reality this is just not going to happen.

There is a product available that will rejuvenate your tired pot plants this spring. It is called Greengold Planting Compost and it's only available in garden centres. This fantastic product contains compost, a wetting agent and an organic fertiliser.
We have had spectacular results when we use this product to topdress our pots in the nursery.

You only need to apply 20mms of Greengold Planting Compost. Spread it over the existing potting mix then water it in. The smaller particles wash down filling up all the cracks. This stops the water from just running out the bottom of your pot.
The compost holds water releasing it slowly to your plants roots. The wetting agent makes your dry potting mix accept water again. The organic fertiliser feeds your plant so that it sends out fresh new growth and more flowers.
It's no secret that water is the miracle of life.
